Best Breakfast in Burlington Aug 22, 2008
It's fresh, it's reasonably priced, and it's always busy. If you don't mind waiting a few minutes for a table I assure you it's the best breakfast available in Burlington. The food is quite good and much of it is made directly at the restaurant (including the sausage!).
I had the traditional zydeco breakfast with standout andouille sausage and cornbread muffins. My dining companions had a burrito and the penny cluse breakfast which had a standout sauce! We had a bill under $30 for 3 breakfasts. While the portions aren't huge I'd imagine 2 people could get large smoothies (which I haven't sampled yet), an entree and side dish for $30. This would reasonably fill me up and provide a quality meal for a fair price. |

Before looking around in the stores on Church Street, it was time for brunch at Penny Cluse Cafe. Although Eli and Aurina weren't 100% sure where the place was that we were going for brunch (and we ended up walking a block too far, to then walk back 2 blocks) we found Penny Cluse and headed in. After around… Church Street is awesome. |
