Expensive members' only resort. The private houses, clubhouse & cliffside point are all great. Everything is very beautifully designed because houses here are restricted to adopt only Mediterranean, Spanish, Modern or Asian Zen-inspired architecture.
Must-see is their infinity pool perched on the cliff. Many TV ads have been shot here because of the breathtaking view. It almost looks like it stretches out to the sea! Also, there's the Fuego Point, a cliffside gazebo area which features a jaw-dropping beach sunset. Around 6pm, the sky starts to look like a Van Gogh painting with shades of blue, orange, yellow & pink all blended together in harmony. It feels so peaceful being up there! All you can hear are the waves crashing on the shores below. It's pretty safe up there though it's also best to be careful so you don't fall off the cliff! It's definitely an ideal location for a romantic wedding. Staff is somewhat snotty to guests (non-members), since they want to come off as "exclusive." There are about 3 beaches here. There was only one we went to, the lowest beach point (forgot what it's called.) The beach is average, not as impressive as the other adjacent beaches (whose rates are much cheaper!) Don't even try diving here, nothing to see... Terrazas de Punta Fuego, Tali beach & other Laiya beaches look better. Rumor has it, they cleared the beach of all the corals so all the fish went off to the cheaper beaches just beside it. All you're actually paying for is just the privacy & exclusivity of the area since the Philippines' richest people & celebrities own rest houses here.
