Cerca de la Sierra de Guadarrama, se encuentra el municipio de Pedraza. A 35 km de Segovia y a 115 de Madrid.
Tuvo su esplendor en los siglos XVI,XVII Y XVIII de cuya epoca data el castillo, su plaza mayor porticada es una de las mas bellas de España, asi como sus cuatro iglesias, de las cuales solo queda una integra, la de San Juan.
