Interests
I like:
music and movies, photography, foreign cultures and religions, going out with friends and having a good laugh, riding roller coasters, visiting museums, getting in touch with history, admiring architecture, seeing shows and musicals, hanging out in the anonymous buzz of train stations/airports, people watching, drinking exotic cocktails on terraces all around the world, trying out new restaurants (and just eating in general), watching sunsets, (day)dreaming, planning future travels, following my curiosity to where it leads me, writing poems/stories/travel blogs/..., learning new things of any kind, drawing and sketching, enjoying life, meeting the world Books you might find in my backpack
Music you might find me listening to while waiting for my plane
Do I really have to list them all? Haha, there are so many! Here 's a quick selection of some groups and one of their songs I like most: Red Hot Chili Peppers (dosed), Moby (Why does my hart feel so bad), Enya (Now we are free), Dire Straits (Walk of life), Queen (Show must go on), Vaya Con Dios (Brave Jane), Manu Chao (Clandestino), Carol King (One fine day), Tracy Chapman (Fast car), Bryan Adams (Summer of 69), Roxette (She's got the look), El Tattoo Del Tigre (A man without a smoke), Bob Marley (Redemption song), Flamenco (any), Cirque du Soleil and Disney soundtracks, Axelle Red (Naive), Billy Joel (Stiletto), The golden 90's Eurodance, and many - many more... Basically, I like all kinds of music. Some just a little more than others ;) Most Memorable Travel Experience
--> Backpacking through Andalusia (South of Spain) with my classmates. And more specific: the views over the Ronda valley, the mystique old mosque in Cordoba, the mighty Alhambra in Granada and the white villages of the Alpujarras.
--> Admiring masterpieces of artwork in Italy: the David and the dome in Florence, the Saint Peter's area and the Sistine chapel in Vatican City, Piaza del Campo and the Siena Dome,... --> Hanging out in beautiful Paris and crossing the roundabound at Place Charles de Gaulle at rush hour. --> Having delicious tapas and tinto de verano at Plaza Santa Ana, Madrid. --> All of stunning Thailand. ...Every travel is an experience, and every experience is memorable. I honestly love every trip I've been on. Profile
I'm a 22 years old, curious and honest girl, recently graduated and now working as a costumer relations officer in an insurance/banking company. Yet I've studied advertising so I'm not planning to stay in this office for the rest of my life. For the moment, however, it offers me the funds AND the necessary amount of payed vacation days to travel around, and to me, thats a mayor advantage :)
I haven't traveled to that many places yet, but I love every city I've seen and everybody I've met. I dream of many trips to make and places to go. On my list are as many countries as there are in the world. Yet the current priorities are: Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos,...), South Africa, Australia, Barcelona (why have I not yet made it there?), Eastern Europe, Cuba, USA. Now I'm a working professional I hope to save the money to make these travels quickly. In the meantime I live in the Flemish part of Belgium, which is a great place yet slightly to cold for me. I hope to move to a foreign country one day to settle down and find a job in. But for now, I'm just enjoying life and everything that's in it. As you can read, I hope a lot. I think sometimes I might need some more guts to put all my dreams into action (and of course some more money, too :D)
