Big stair walk and quite area Dec 13, 2009

Well it was expensive for me to stay in and the drinks are expensive in their bar downstairs. Save it for another country. Area is boring near not much to do, just walk and see Eiffel tower pretty much and near that area it is a lot more interesting.
The good thing is they were moving beds and I being on the highest floor ended up getting a single bed so had my own room which didn't cost me extra :) but nothing happened :(
I think it is ok hostel to stay for in Paris, everything is expensive unless you are local or have friend.

Well the first time I ever went to Paris was a few weeks after my second belligerent year in Bad Durkeim during Winefest. I ended up losing both my digital camera AND my cell phone at Winefest so I had to buy disposables which were uber lame and not…hostel cost me about €20 a night for two nights. You can already see how fast my account is draining. The benefit of this whole trip was that I was officially in Paris seeing the sites, enjoying myself, & seeing hot, gorgeous females all over the place. 1:00am “Well, I only had to wait an extra hour yesterday, but we all magically found each other at the same time. It was a good feeling. 4:15pm Tuesday, June 29, 2004 This morning came way earlier than wanted. I didn’t get to sleep until after 3am and the alarm went off at 8:30am. I ignored it as long as I could and got in the shower at 9:45. We went to breakfast at 9:15. …Peace and Love hostel. I am definitely ready to get home today. Paris was beautiful. My arrival was smooth but it took me about an hour to figure out the train system. After a bit I was able to catch the train from the airport to a stop pretty close to the Peace and Love hostel I stayed at. This was …Peace and Love hostel I stayed at. This was a neat place because it was a bar downstairs and had the rooms above it. I, of course, had the penthouse suite which was at the top....and there was no elevator, only a tight… Paris

Peace & Love Hostel Information and Description

Please note: We only allow guests between the ages of 18 and 35 years Peace and Love is a hostel you'll want to stay at, if you are the kind of person who wants to party, drink and be merry!! DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE A SLEEPER!! COME AND STAY WITH US FOR A GREAT TIME ONLY!!!!! Peace and Love is a very special place, everyone who works here loves Paris and all its magic. When you come to Paris this is definitely the only place you will want to stay to really have a good time. All our rooms, private...(see more) and dorms are ensuite; there is a pub on the premises which stays open till 2.00am and specializes in cheap beer (3.40 a pint during Happy Hour!!) cocktails including country-time and kool aid drinks. Peace & Love was completely renovated last December. There is also a Television available with international channels and Internet access. Plus we have telephone and fax facilities. For breakfast, lunch, dinner... you have full cooking facilities with oven, microwave, fridge, toaster... There is shower in all the rooms. Sheets, covers and pillows are provided. Most of the rooms also have toilets. There are double rooms with DOUBLE BEDS inside , triple rooms, rooms for 4 or 5 people or dorm rooms available with bunk-beds inside. There is a safety box which you can use free of charge at the reception. The hostel has no curfew, no lock-out, it's open 24 hours. Around the hostel, there is bakery, laundromat, and supermarkets. Once a week you can also enjoy live music or DJ party in our pub. We don't accept credit cards, just cash or travellers cheques. We also have guided walking tours given by our staff. The tours are fun, informative and you have an opportunity to win drinks. There are 3 different tours, A 4 hour general tour of Paris hitting all the big sights, Notre Dame, Palais Royal, Tullieries Garden, Place du Concorde, Champs Elysees and finishing around the Arch du Trioumph, this is a great way to catch beautiful photo opportunities and learn all the great stories about the french revolution and everything you ever needed to know about Napoleon. Montmartre and the artist colony area, with a view of Paris at night, also daytime tours to the cemetery Pere Lachaise and Buttes Chaumont Park; the oldest park in Paris with a waterfall and a cave. This is an unexplored part of Paris that normally tourists know nothing about. Both tours are given in English and Spanish. You can sign up when you arrive. Once a week we offer a special dinner with the tour included for 25 euros, the dinner is cooked by an american chef who studied in france and america. It is a four or 5 course dinner with 2 glasses of wine and the tour!!!! this is a fabulous deal that you will only find at the peace and love... If you wnat to reserve for the dinner when you make your reservation feel free to do so because we only have 25 spots every week for the dinner... Peace and Love also boasts many board games for your enjoyment such as Pictionary, Balderdash, Mad Gab, Uno, and of course Scategories. Fun Fun FUN!!! *Important notice: Please note that we will hold your reservation for 3 hours following the arrival time you submitted on your booking when you processed it online.
