Italian in SF's SOMA District (specializing in homemade pasta)

The service is great, and the ambience is very cute. This is a

good place to eat if you're in the Metreon area and don't feel like

eating something commercial. The pasta dishes are typical, but

the pasta itself is very good (you can taste the freshness).

They're served in small portions which are enough, but it's also very

oily. Average priced, but personally not worth it. Once is

good enough for me.

I agree with Kathy's review. The ambience and service are great, the

food is average and somewhat expensive. When I went had a Salmon and

Spinach pasta dish. The homemade pasta was fresh, tasty and al dente,

but the salmon was pretty standard. The Carpaccio appetizer was okay,

but there wasn't enough lemon sauce and it tasted too much like only

raw meat. I'd still say that this is a lot better than many of the

Italian places in north beach, though.

The food was pretty good, albeit a rather limited selection. I had a chicken dish, and my date had a pasta dish. Both were pretty tasty, but I'll have to go back again for the pizza. That looks to be their specialty.

The place has a very intimate feel to it, and the workers there are oozing with italian charm.
