Payuyo Pension Reviews
Just the Basics Aug 19, 2008
Payuyo Pension is a typical, plain-looking pension house. The ground floor consists of the front desk, some dining tables, and a kitchen. Not sure if they serve food for guests, but it is a possibility. All the rooms (plain-looking as well) are located in the second floor. Ours had 2 beds with an attached bathroom (no hot water). For P600, it is fairly cheap. If you add P150-P200, you can use the air-con. But trust me, an electric fan and the breeze coming from outside will be enough to ward off the heat. The location is quite good, as well. Rizal Avenue, PP's main artery where most other hotels and restaurants are located, is walking distance from Payuyo. Moreover, the staff (one or two people at a time) were very helpful and accommodating, and a good source of info about tours, transport schedules, etc. If you're looking for just the bare necessities, Payuyo Pension is a good option for you.
