A French Boulangerie by the Tower Aug 04, 2017
Paul is a French chain of "fast casual" restaurants. Paul tells us it was founded in France in 1889, but I'm certain it was then nothing like it is now. (The name is a family surname.)

This Paul location is in the shadow of the Tower of London, near the Tower Millennium Pier. It does offer a menu quite different from the fast casual coffee and sandwich shop chains. There are croques, quiches, breads, pastries, salads and hot beverages Hot sandwiches, too. I enjoyed a quiche for lunch after our visit to the Tower. I also tried a bag of Paul's own brand of crisps. Orders are placed at the counter. You name is called for pickup when the order is ready.

I liked it and would try one of the chain again.

Paul offers complementary WiFi.
