Patterson Arena- Ice Skating Reviews

Feb 05, 2007
Does the feeling of slick ice beneath your feet welcome excitement and bring a smile to your face?

If you are a fan of ice skating, you have two fantastic options in Grand Rapids.

If you wish to skate in an indoor rink, allowing for different seasons,
go to Patterson Arena. It is only $6.00 which gets you admission and your skate rental.
If you have your own skates, it's only $4

Patterson offers a snack bar, and picnic tables to sit and relax at, as well as some arcade games.

The rink is very large and they have open skate every friday from 9 pm until midnight...
really until the zamboni chases you off of the ice!

I went ice skating for the first time here, and I have gone several times since. I have always had a blast..

so put your penguin feet on and start sliding around that ice!
