Great Family Recreational Area Aug 14, 2006
The Park was established in 1975 and is on of Arizona's hidden treasures. Hidden in the rolling hills it is the idea place for great outdoor recreation for the whole family. The lake provides for water sports, while the extended park offers a campground, that overlooks the lake.

If you like fishing, you will be delighted to get some trout. The fish in the lake is replenished every three weeks. You are probably wondering why there is need to replenish; this is a man made lake and the reproduction of fish life is not exactly natural. With the amount of activity on the lake, it is necessary to replace the fish.

I love their picnic grounds, one of my favorite things to do is take the family on picnics and hiking. The park offers picnic areas with ramadas, tables and grill, a beach, boat ramp, trails for hiking, restrooms and showers. Creek trail is my favorite hiking trail.
