Pasig Overview

One of the cities of Metro Manila, near Mandaluyong, Marikina and Quezon City to name a few. Pasig used to be the capital of the province of Rizal.
It still is associated with the Pasig River which was representative of Manila back in the 1900s.
At present for someone who lives in the Metro, the mention of Pasig usually connotes motels or love rooms paid for on an hourly basis.

The Ortigas Center Business District is located in this City as well as other recreation centers such as Tiendesitas and Metrowalk, where one can enjoy a good night out with the various bars in the vicinity. Also in the Ortigas Center are 'El Pueblo', another small grouping of restaurants and 3 shopping malls of note: SM Megamall, The Podium, and Robinson's.

It is also worth mentioning that several banks have branches in the Ortigas Center Business District, including HSBC and Citi, as well as the many Philippine banks with offices here. Additionally, the Philippine Stock Exchange Building is located on Exchange Road.
