A great walk before going into the city - Paseo del Morro Feb 05, 2009
The trail is located within the San Juan National Historic Site. If you are walking around Old San Juan, pass through San Juan Gate and take a stroll on Paseo del Morro. We did the opposite. We were in our way to Old San Juan and stopped here first to finally cross the gate ;)

This half-mile path runs between the Atlanltic ocean and the old city walls. While you are there you can enjoy nice views from the ocean, the bay and also historic vistas from the walls that surround the city. You can visit it at different hours, always getting amazing views. There are benches, so if you get tired, just sit down and enjoy the breeze.

The walls are huge and same as in the old cities they were used to protect the city from invaders. At the end there is a gate “San Juan gate”, just cross it and you would go into the nice city of San Juan and enjoy all its colonial beauty.

It’s a nice and relaxing walk and as the best things in life is free!

Is this the walking path that connects the two forts?
