Despite being one of the smaller cities of Metro Manila, Pasay City has a lot of frequently visited tourist spots. It also is home to the international gateway of the Philippines, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Pasay was one of the original cities of Metro Manila and has been around since Spanish times. It is also the city that has reclaimed a lot of land from Manila Bay, where many of the new structures were built since the 70s.

Many expos and conventions happen in the various centers within Pasay every weekend. There is a ferry terminal which connects Metro Manila with the World War II reknown island of Corregidor, the western province of Bataan, and historical Cavite in the south.
