Erin had planned a mini-meetup for this past weekend for her friend Sudip, who by the way is so cool! We share an intense passion for Korean food! He is one step ahead of me though as he has married a Korean! Ah, if I married a Korean person who could cook well I'd be.. very happy but very rotund! …

This started out as a not so very GREAT day! After a short jaunt out of town...one - two hours of sleep and to find out you are taking 10 people to the Rose Parade kind of freaked me out! We didn't have any reserved seats, we were going to make our way down to the parade route! Uncles, Aunts and c…

After leaving San Diego, I plugged in the address for the lunch date with Joy and Co. It said Covina, but Joy's message had said the place was in Pasadena. I tried the address for Pasadena, but none was found, so I looked at the GPS map and decided the Covina one was in the right g…

It was tough dragging my butt out of bed early after last night's festivities, but i needed to get ready to go the tailgate. Of course my friends B and S were late, but it was still way too early after a night filled with drinking. We got to the Rosebowl and met up with our friend Z - w…

Ouch, this one still hurts. Some losses stick with you forever, and this is one of them. I thought maybe writing a travel blog for a bunch of travbuddies from Netherlands and Singapore would help the healing process. Good thinking Tom. What hurts the most isn't that my beloved Michigan lost o…
