Iranian food Apr 08, 2013
Not just in Dubai but across the UAE you will find Pars.

Always a pleasure having authentic Iranian food.

Things to definitely have

* skewer grilled chicken 'jujeh kabab'

* skewer grilled fish 'maheen kabab'

* skewer grilled steak piece 'sultani'

* ground meat kababs 'kabab kobideh'

Food comes with a variety of salads, pickles and breads.

Iranian soups are called 'aash'. A certain common kind of aash looks lot like Minestrone soup.

Baghla Pilau is basically rice steamed with dried dill and lima beans.

This can be served with a slow cooked joint of lamb or with fried pomfret - a unique pleasure.

They might sometimes carry a yogurt drink called 'dogh', sometimes containing mint leaves.

Great Kabab Nov 14, 2010
Pars Iranian Restaurant is located in the food court in the Mall of the Emirates, right next to Ski Dubai. Last time I was in Dubai I had fantastic food at an Iranian restaurant in a different mall. Unfortunately I don´t remember where it was nor the name of it, so I thought I´ll give Pars a try.

It was quiet when I arrived , so it was easy to get a table. The staff was welcoming, helpful, polite and efficient. It lacked a bit on the atmosphere, but it´s difficult to get the cozy feeling in a food court. Pars serves starters, a great variety of kebabs, steaks and fish fillets. I decided on a yoghurt marinated chicken kabab, and of course hommos as a starter. The food was served very quickly. The hommos was great and the yoghurt marinated chicken heavenly. It was so tender and so tasty. With the mains you can choose between french fries of rice. Prices were average. A chicken kabab cost between 50-60 Dhr, the seafood slightly more.

The quality of the food sure made up for the lack in atmosphere. If you are in the Mall of the Emirates, Pars Iranian restaurant is absolutely worth a try.
