In the Miraflores neighborhood of Lima there's the Parque del Amor. It's located on a cliff looking over the ocean and is filled with mosaics and quotes about love. It's really a beautiful location and has great energy. While the rest of Lima's definitely not a beautiful city, this park makes up for the rest of it.

We first visited Parque del Amor with the mosaic wall and the famous statue “El Beso” (The Kiss) made by Victor Delfín.

The central square of Miraflores proved to be less interesting, but the Parque del amor was really nice also overlooking the ocean.
In the evening I tasted Pisco Sour (the country´s alcoholic beverage) and had a Peruvian dish of chicken with rice in one of the most expensive restaurants in Lima. Both tasted great! … Exploring Lima |

We met in Miraflores and walked through Central Park and went to Parque del Amor. It was a nice evening - not so cool. Then we went to Larcomar (Mangos) to have the view and have something to eat. Although they have been in Peru for almost 1 week, they haven't tried much peruvian food. But, I fixed… My first intercontinental travbuddies: Nicolas & Asanthika :) |

…Jungle´´La Anaconda Dance´´ in the Sierra´´Huayno ´´in Cusco dance´´Negrillos ´´ in Coast the Marinera Hmmm the food there ohhh was very delicious also Pisco sour :)
Nextday we went to eat ice cream and walk around Miraflores-Parque del Amor. now they are in Suiza and i will keep my best memory i hope to visit all them in Suiza one day :)

Then I showed them the surroundings, including the "Parque del Amor" (Love Park). After that we drove to Barranco. I wanted them to know another part of the city. The bohemian one ;) I'm glad I could welcome them to Peru :) I had a blast with them and can't wait to visit… My first travbuddies' - Lalie & Mario :) |
