Parque das aves Foz do Iguacu Reviews
Nicely done! Mar 27, 2015
This place was not high on my list of things to see, but I will say that I enjoyed it a lot.
The park is very clean and well laid out. There are various birds in large caged environments and there are also many free roaming birds too.
You pretty much walk in a circle from the entrance and back, passing through many large aviaries. I think the highlights are the toucans and the macaws.
I like that the aviaries are so large that it gives the birds plenty of room to fly around in.
Most of the birds here are rescued from the illegal pet trade, so I am glad to see them get a second chance in this facility.
The park has free wifi so that you can read up on the different birds you see.
There is a restaurant near the exit and it is actually priced reasonably. We paid about $15 for 3 meals and drinks.
There is also a gift shop.
There are several clean restrooms around the park as well.
Entrance fee is about $10 and I think it is worth it.
The highlight was the macaw aviary. There were 100's of them in there flying around and squawking. They are very loud.
Also, watch your head in there!!
