Parkhotel Den Haag

The hotel was actually a very nice old hotel but I had anticipated a better hotel room than the one we got. My main reason for that was that the room was put down from 150€ to 79€ on bookings.com, and when that happens I expect a room equivalent to that price.

Our room was in the Garden wing with covered over that it was in the worst place in the hotel I hope. The room was quite small; my guess would be 12 square meters inclusive the small toilet and shower. There was a small closet and an old king size bed. There was a huge flat screen and a small desk with a garden chair.

The staff was very friendly and service minded and we were lucky to get one of the 10 parking spaces in their parking, which cost 22,50€ which is fair and the going rate.

The breakfast was nice and the restaurant where it was served was gently renovated and was a good surprise in the morning; they charged 20€ for it and that I found exaggerated.

The hotel was situated great if you want to walk in the old city centre and there were hardly any traffic in the area. The surrounding is full of cafés and restaurants and for the thrill seekers there are several coffee shops in the neighbourhood. Shopping is great in the city and from that point that the hotel is close to everything is pulling my experience of this hotel up.
