Park Plaza restaurant a.k.a. the diner next to the Brooklyn Bridge has always been the place I wandered to in the middle of the night, early morning when it was cold, coming from somewhere else, extending a hang out night. It's always appeared, a place I'd never especially seek out but was always there when needed.

The food is standard Greek-American diner food, averagely executed. It's nothing special but absolutely perfect to keep you going after a night out. Their pancakes are good, challah bread, macho nachos, mozzarella sticks, are their better things. The Manhattan clam chowder tastes like soup from a can though, ehh I wish they'd get New England clam chowder...

It's open late nights and as it's located in the more commercial area, the downtown section of Brooklyn which attracts lots of different characters. From the high school students staying out late, group dates, musicians after a late night session, the couple nodding off in their martini glasses, sleazy guys, business types, etc. etc and of course, yours truly.
