Park Central Hotel Miami

I actually really enjoyed my 3 night stay at this hotel, located right on Ocean Drive on South Beach. Simply being on Ocean Drive, whether its on the beach, sipping on mojitos at one of the many bars and restaurants with outdoor seating or walking down the strip at night, makes you feel like 100 times coolerthan you actually are. I'm not sure what, exactly, it is about this place that has this effect- whether it's the beautiful people and the colorful attire they wear, or the music, or the weather, or the cool art-deco architecture in that area.. but South Beach just makes you.. happy. Our hotel was right smack in the middle of it. It was complete and utter bliss, I tell you. The hotel itself was okay, although not nearly as glamourous as it appeared in the pictures on its website, but that's okay. It had a lot of character, it was clean, everyone there was realy nice and helpful and, actually, the whole downstairs was really, really nice. They have a cool-looking bar and dining area downstairs, a modern lounge, and outdoor seating. The rooms were large and very casual and beachy, and that's something I really liked, actually, because it really reminded me that I was on a nice, relaxing vacation. The most attractive thing about this hotel, in my opinion, is that they have turned the roof top into a lounge area, and have a spot painted on to the wall where they project movies at night for the guests of the hotel and serve gourmet appetizers and drinks. I thought this was an incredibly orginal and fun concept.
I would definitely stay at the Park central again. Not only is the location great, but it's reasonable, comfortable and fun.
