Indeed one of the best hostels around Jun 29, 2015
We stayed in an 8 Bed mixed dorm and paid roughly 11 € a night p.P. The Pariwana Hostel is probably one of the best hostels I every stayed in. The location is top - just about 5 minutes to the most important sites of Cusco.

Guests get wristband to help the security guard at the entrance identify them; security is also very good. The staff were mostly very helpful; the only exception was the tour information chick, who sold us a day tour even though we just wanted to go to one place. I'd recommend taking a lock with you so you are able to lock your wardrobe.

They also offer free luggage storage, even if you are not around that much; we left our suitcases with them first for 5 days (we were doing a trek) and then again for several days while we were at Lake Titicaca. We only showed up once at night to switch our clothes and they even let us have breakfast, even though we hadn't paid for that night, which was pretty awesome.

Beds and showers/toilets were fine; the staff was cleaning a lot, also at night (we had this incident where a dude threw up in the hallway at like 1 am and when my friend went to pee at 1:30 am, everything was already cleaned up. We thought that was pretty impressive).

Comfiest hostel beds at altitude! Mar 21, 2011
Great hostel - really safe, one of the cleanest hostels in South America and the comfiest beds in the world: thick mattresses, 2 pillows to every bed and 3/4 sized beds (comfy for 2 ;))

Social things every evening and great location - all in all, highly recommended!

A great place to meet people and enjoy the wonderful town Sep 08, 2011
We stayed in Pariwana-Cusco for 3 nights in total-two nights before the inca jungle trail trekking and one after that. We lived in a 14beds dorm and the only disadvantage of that dorm is that some people might snore at night...even though I think that's a normal trade-off if you chose a cheap and big dorm to sleep in...

Other than that, the hostel is great! The beds are super duper comfy and warm! Hot shower and unlimited breakfast are available. Their playground is a perfect place to meet other backpackers from around the world. And they have a table-tennis table in the middle of the playground (excuse me for being a huge ping-pong fun...) The computer room, kitchen, and bar are on the second floor. They have organized activities going on everyday, like free salsa dancing class, drinking game, movie night etc. And remember, their bar has the best milkshake in town!!! I would like to get them a 5-star for all the convenience they provide!

great social hotel with great services! Sep 16, 2011
I really liked this place. It's right next to the main plaza, the staff is nice (I wouldn't book tours through the hostel though). The hostel is very pretty and very clean. It;s got hot showers, a TV room, a computer room, a kitchen, a bar with great food and great drinks (that can be pricey). It's a great place to meet people too. People come from different hostels to hang out because it's really a fun place with great people!

Its a nice enough place with bunks you can sit up in. The down side is the limited breakfast. You have to pay if you want for than jam on bread. They run a tour desk but if you book anything their they act like they are doing you massive favour. Its a nice hostel and plenty of places to hang about with a large outside area but you feel like another number.

Best Hostel Ever! Sep 03, 2010
Wow. I would go back to Cusco just for this hostel. The beds are hotel-quality! The shower is as hot as you want it. There is art haning around the hostel and you can buy it if you want. It looks really nice. They have a restaurant, good food, nice people. You have a locker in your room (bring your own padlock).

Friendly. Cheap, Lovely, Fun Activities Hostel Jun 09, 2010
The beds are soooo comfortable here, I hadn't slept so well the entire time I was in Peru, you wont even notice that you're actually in a dorm!

This was a great place to meet people, with tonnes of amenities, bar, tv room, kitchen, huge courtyard to sit out in the sunshine... but far enough away from the sleeping areas to not disturb you.

Possibly the best hostel I've ever stayed in. They have set activities for the mornings and evenings seven days a week
