It was so much fun, nice and easy to get to by Eurostar - just take a seat and let the driver do all the work ;) I tell ya, if you think London cabbies are bad, wait till you get a load of these guys! We got to our little hotel (just about!) and decided to go for a bit of a wander and what was the first shop we came across? La Patisserie! Mmmmmm, I bought a stick of bread and just walked around Paris munching it!
The architecture is stunning, The Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame...

This time I didn't get my head stuck. But leaning this far forward almost made me fall off the Eiffel Tower! Good thing I wasn't up any farther. That could have been terrible.
The ride past the Arc de Triomphe with my head out of the top of that little black car was fun.
I even got a chance to have coffee at one of the most famous spots around, Les Deux Magots!
Paris is wonderful and has so many great places to see. I didn’t have anywh...

Paris really is the city of lumiers (lights)! I loved it I spent a summer there and I saw all the main attractions as well as a couple of side attractions like the actual lives of the people there. There's a bakery where they make cochons (pigs) that are filled with chocolate and have cute curly tails! They are so cute. Paris is truly a beautiful city, I used to think it was "overrated" but it's not. I was so happy to see all the major works of art. Even though the Louvre is more famous for t...

7.6.After a LONG night we arrived to the city of dreams. We arrived to Gare du Nord station and after like 10minutes there was a guy who offered us a some hostel brochure. We were too tired of looking anything else so we took that and went to Peaco and Love hostel near the station. There was a bar downstairs where we made our reservation, we get to sleep in a mattress on the floor for 20€/night. After that we just left and wander around the city. After a while we were totally lost, but we f...

Proof that the joie de vivre is strong in Paris.... even after all the bad things that happened to me on this trip, i still managed to feel so insouciant and cheerful the whole time! After months of planning and preperation...Julianna and I finally arrive in Paris.

A much needed break from a long summer of training for the marine corps marathon. A trip to Paris is what I needed. What more can I say? I absolutely LOVE the city. BTW, this trip was my second solo trip abroad. I wish I knew about TB then...would have been nice to meet up with some peeps =)
