If you are looking for a hostel this is an awesome bet. This is in my top 5, maybe my 2nd favorite.
First I have to say that this place is cheaper than most hostels in Paris. Its location is definitely one reason why, the other reason is due to the building's age. Hoche is not the nicest neigh…

Very nice hostel. The people are friendly and helpful. The basilica is literally 2 blocks away, and the nearest metro is no more than a 5 minute walk.
I'll be staying there again if/when I return to Paris!

Pro: bar/restaurant located in the hostel (you get a discount if you show your room key), lounge in the basement, book exchange, clean rooms/bathroom, everything is brand new because it opened up in jan 08, free breakfast (…

Good hotel. The lady was very friendly and got us a taxi when we needed, and gave us a lot of good information.
Nice room and a pretty good location.

I spend there 3 nights in 2007 when I was traveling to Paris. The first thing to say about this hostel it that it was rather modest, but very clean, which was the most important for me. The room we stayed in was rather small, but has everything one needs. The bathroom and toilet was clean as well. T…

I stayed here in summer -06. It´s quit far away from the central and main tourist sites (Eiffel tower, Louvre, Notre Dame) but it´s near Gare du Nord and Gare de l´Est trainstation and metro. But other hand Montmartre, like Sacre Couer and Moulan Rouge, are near. It has a internet connection, but…

After having spent the previous 2 nights in my first ever hostel I was encouraged about the remainder of the trip and the nights I'd be in hostels. Oops, which is on Rue de Gobelins not far from Place d'Italie, is a pretty clean and nice looking place.
I stayed in a room of 4 that had a bathro…

I stayed in this hostel my 1st night in Paris :( Why did I choose a hostel near to the train station, which is never a good sign? Well, because I couldn't find anywhere else to stay.
I knew Paris is expensive, but you can find better places for which I paid here. It's simply not worth. They say…

An okay hostel with a great location - thus recommended. A bunch of computers, a kitchen in the basement, and tables in the "common room" on the main floor make it a fun place to hang out. It is close to the subway station, which makes it very quick and easy to get wherever you want whenever you wan…

When I was in Paris most recently, I stayed here with a friend. The bedrooms accommodate six people, and I believe there are all-female or all-male rooms...there are definitely mixed rooms, according to their site, but I remember only women in the room when I was there. The showers were a little col…

Despite the cheery name, this is without a doubt the worst hostel I have ever stayed in. First of all, the room I was staying in had no lockers. This wouldn't have been a major problem, except that the lock to the door of the room didn't work at all. Even if it had worked, it probably wouldn't hav…
