The Parco Tirreno (or "Parco" as we called it) is a pretty nice place to stay. They have done renovations recently, but only to some of the rooms, so if you're looking for the ultimate in modern luxury, this place isn't for you.
One big plus about the Parco is the fact that many rooms have small kitchenettes, a sink, a refridgerator, etc, as well as a patio or balcony. If you are planning to stay in Rome for a short while, rather than just a couple of days, the Parco is useful because these rooms are essentially small apartments.
They have several restaurants (the food isn't that wonderful) and a bar (not the cheapest, but average), as well as a gift shop and pool.
While the pool is nice, it costs quite a bit for a day pass to use it - even if you're already staying there as a guest, each room can only have 2 people at a time at the pool. Otherwise, a day pass to the pool is 10 euro. Ridiculous.
The biggest downside to the Parco that I found is its location. The Cornelia metro stop is a good 15 minute walk down the road, on a narrow sidewalk frequently obscured by plants. Even though this is a safe area, nobody wants to be walking around a strange city if they don't have to be; therefore it is often necessary to take taxicabs home after a certain hour.
Otherwise, there is a grocery store (there is a BIG supermarket 10 minutes down the road by bus also, but did I mention it's 15 minutes walk to the bus stop?), a bar, a pastry shop, a late-hour McDonalds (lifesaver!), a (Italian language) cinema, a laundromat, 2 beauty salons, a pharmacy, and the BEST kebab place known to mankind, Pizza Design *see my other review* all within 5 minutes of the metro station. It's actually getting TO the metro station that's the problem.
Overall the service was pretty good and the place was kept clean. I would be a guest here again, and would recommend it to others, provided your stay in Rome is longer than, say, a week.

I booked this hotel because i was encourages by the information that it's completely renovated in 2005. But the truth is that it's completely renovated not in 2005 but perhaps in 1975 and honestly i was very disappointed when saw this hote...read entire review at TravelPost.com
