Parc des Mamelles Mahaut Reviews
Nice walk in the woods Apr 23, 2012
Parc des Mamelles was a mix between a botanical garden and a small zoo. I found it to be quite nice because they had made a path trough the woods that you followed in order to see both the animals and the plants. This meant that you could choose to pass people on your path or not and you could be pretty much alone as well, which gave pretty good photo opportunities.
The only negative thing was the screams from French children every time they saw something. I even hushed at some of them because they started to scream next to me a couple of times and when I told then not too they usually ran to their parents and pointed fingers at me, but as long as they stopped their screaming they could point all what they wanted.
I managed to get some great shots while I was there and for me the walk lasted us almost 1,5 hour and I enjoyed the place, but I did not do the three walk that also was an option. The entrance fee was 13 euro and I found that fair.
