Parc Urbain Bangr-Weoogo Ouagadougou Reviews
Nature within the city Nov 26, 2008
More a small nature reserve than a city park, this large park is well worth half a day, and probably one of the most worthwile places to visit in Ouagadougou.
We walked around for a few hours, and met only a handful of people, half of whom were park employees. We did see a lot of animals, from birds and lizards to an antilope.
The trails are well kept, but when we went off the trail (which isn't allowed, as we were told by a park employe who "caught" us) to get closer to the antilope, we did find a lot of garbage, despite the presence of garbage cans.
Near the entrance are some tables where you can have a drink in the shade.
