A place for no sleep Jan 02, 2011
This hotel is ridiculous, and is easily the worse I’ve ever stayed in. I did not get any sleep in this hotel. Really not even one minute. It’s not like I’m a light sleeper I had even had a couple of drinks that night. Constant noise out in the corridors going in and out rooms doors slamming, and try not be near the lift or you really will know what floor you are staying on by the end of the night “floor 2 going up” “floor 2 going down” DING!! There was snow out but our room was that hot I was sleeping with no covers on and only boxers and was still sweating. Then early morning about 8 the people next door began to have a shower and the noise in our room was unreal from the hot water tank I can only guess. Never heard such load noise coming from a hotel wall before. Also agree with below of very poor lighting in the rooms but that didn’t bother me too much. Also was told that car parking cost 9euro for hotel rate for you nights stay. I was not told only if you got to the car park before 9am!! Price nearly double after 9am..

These days you can stay in a hotel and get a good night sleep for the same price as here, so if you want any sleep I would not stay here.

Great Hotel very close to the centre Feb 14, 2011
This is a good standard Hotel that is on the edge of the Temple Bar area without being disturbed by the noise. I've stayed here several times and never been disappointed by the handiness of it.

Great Location May 19, 2006
Located in the Temple Bar area it is the perfect location to walk and enjoy the nightlife (yet the rooms are quiet and peaceful). We stayed here for two nights in Ireland, after a week of driving the countryside and staying at B&B's. Hotel is within walking distance of almost all major attractions and Dublin Castle's entrance is less than 2 blocks away.

The staff was very helpful, room was clean, big, comfortable. Breakfast was not included in the rate, but fresh apples were provided every morning in the lobby. Wireless internet was available in the room and worked well. Hotel also has a pub/restaurant on the ground level which is very convenient.

We definitely would recommend this hotel for your stay in Dublin city center.

Here is a tip - you can take the Airport bus in and out from City Center to airport for only 7 Euros. It is easy, runs on schedule , available 24 hours, many convenient stops in the city.

Thanks for the review. The Temple Bar area seemed pretty crazy at night, but this sounds like a great location if it's still quiet and peaceful and still within walking distance.
