A third world relic from times gone by! Mar 07, 2009
This place is gross! If you plan to stay here bring a full bodied biohazard suit it's that unclean! Not only did it smell like death and have cochroaches strolling around on the putrid original 60's carpet but everything was falling to pieces and would be quite dangerous to children eg. loose and slippery tiles on the highrise balcony. The furnishings were clearly bought at a gypsy garage sale and the ceilings look like someones covered them in wet toilet paper. The member of staff I encountered was a passive agressive of the highest order and it was quite unpleasant to deal with him. Take the lifts at your own risk, there's no air conditioning, I won't be returning - I'd rather sleep on the beach or a park bench!

Bree and I checked out at 10am and caught a taxi to our new accomodation, the Surfers Tropique Resort. The resort was located between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. It was a nice and quiet location away from the hussle and bussle of Su…… First there was 5, now there was 10!! |
