Paradise Point Resort San Diego
Paradise Point Resort San Diego Reviews
I love this place! Jan 26, 2009
I remember staying at this hotel every summer when I was growing up. It was amazing to say the least! Once called "the Princess" it is now called Paradise Point Resort. Many things have changed but overall it is heavenly. There are many things to do there and since the rooms are bungalow style vs. a tower, it is much more personal. There are lanai bayside guestrooms, and also include suites, lanai patio, lanai garden, and studio garden suites. The hotel is situated on it's own peninsula basically. I know the Bayside Bungalow suites have their own patio area (I think all the rooms have a patio) but these open onto a little grass area and beachfront.
There are so many things to do here too you almost don't need to leave. I remember rollerblading around the property when I was little as others rented bikes. Here is a quick summary of things to do: tennis, croquet, mini golf, water sports rentals (boats, jet skis), a few different beautiful pools, tower to look over the bay, feeding ducks/fish, beach activities, bonfires, fitness center, spa, barefoot Bar and Grill, room service and within walking distance to Sea World. Mission Beach is located nearby where you can go parasailing and sport fishing. This hotel is by far one of my most favorite memories and places to stay at. It has everything you could want for a relaxing vacation so if a group of friends are looking to split the cost and get a cool place to stay and hang out while in San Diego I highly recommend it. It is also family friendly too! |

Great location! May 24, 2008
We could only afford a "Garden Suite" but it was very nice. We were within walking distance to a beach and the hotel's location in general is excellent!
When booking it I thought we might hear airplanes overhead, but we never did. It is right down the street from Sea World and kind of on its own little island. Easy to get to. Loved it and would go there again. |
