Paradise Cove Luau Honolulu Reviews
Luau with a sunset view Jun 08, 2012
Luau is a must for anyone's first time visiting Hawaii.. so, of course, my sis and I had to go to one.
We chose Paradise Cove Luau for 2 things - location and price.
Paradise Cove, located on the northwest coast of the Oahu, offers a sunset view. It also had direct access to the beach.
They offer 3 seating areas, each with a different price tag.
We took the Orchid Luau Buffet for $120 per person, which seats in the middle area during dinner and show. It also includes:
• Round Trip Transportation from Waikiki
• Fresh Flower Lei Greeting upon Arrival
• Mai Tai Greeting plus two (2) Exotic Drink Tickets
• Orchid Luau Seating
• Hawaiian Luau Buffet Menu
• Arts & Crafts Demonstrations
• Games of Skill and Daring in the Hawaiian Village
• Shower of Flowers
• Hukilau on the Beach
• Royal Court
• Imu Ceremony
• The Paradise Cove Extravaganza
In honesty, the food was okay - maybe because we've already had them at Ono's. The games with arts & crafts were fun. I like how they had a performance on the beach as the sun was s etting. The performances were fun - the dancers were really fantastic!
All in all - I think $120 was expensive for the quality of the food and the overall experience.
Nonetheless, it's now off my checklist.
