Murchison Falls is where the Victoria Nile flows through a 6 metre gap in the jungle outcrop on it's way west to Lake Albert on North-Western Uganda.
Teeming with wildlife, notable additions are Giraffes and Nile Crocodiles in addition to the usual Elephants, Hippos and Lions found elsewhere in Uganda.

Not exactly a travel hot spot, but Uganda does offer a range of opportunities. Recently I took a trip to the Murchison Falls National Part in northern Uganda - long on the travel black list. It was a wonderful place!
