Great Cajun Seafood May 28, 2009
If you like really good Cajun Seafood, then this is the best place to go. I am left with dreams of mounds of FRESH oysters, fried alligator, Crawfish Etouffee, dirty rice, Cedar Plank Salmon, key lime pie, and much more. We went to eat here on a weekday night during happy hour and just loved it. I have eaten at many other locations in the Dallas area and have always left satisfied. This time was no different.
The offer a great set during happy hour and we jumped on it. Happy hour runs M-F from 3-6:30 and they have a pretty extensive menu. The fried green beans, the crispy orange shrimp, the tandori grilled salmon or the cheese and seafood fondue, all of these dishes and more with each under $5. Me and the guys really enjoyed every bite. The frozen drinks were a bit pricey even though they had no alcohol in them, but they were good. We walked away paying less than $50, including tip, for the 3 of us. I thought that was a steal. The service is excellent. The décor is classic. The restrooms are clean and then entire experience is worth every dollar. Part of the My Awesome Austin Weekend travel blog
