It was my second trip this year to Cyprus – the island of love. Of course, I didn’t find any love there, because wasn’t looking for it, but still had a really great time! I spent my holidays doing totally nothing – having wine, fishing octopuses, discovering Turkish side as well as Greek side of the island, enjoying night life in Agia Napa and meeting wonderful sunrises… Well… On the other hand, maybe it was more then doing nothing… :)

What happens when you stop by and, after few days, you decide to pick the country as your new home country? What makes you feel like home? People, sun, sea, food, music, beach, and from your side, a heart large enough so you can love all these.

I stayed in Limassol for 2 weeks. That is nice place but very calm as for me. "Pencionary island" as I say to my friends. On the other side it's a nice place to beach-related rest :)

Graduating in May I headed to the Caribbean, then to Spain and Denmark, then the southern US, then Greece, followed by Turkey and Cyprus, then Greece again, and finally the central US.

We went to Cyprus on detatchment every year while I was in Scotland. 2003 was by far the best one. We just had so much fun none of us wanted to come home.

It's a custom for Myrto (one of my best friends) and I go to Paphos and spend a few days there in the Summer. Paphos is one of the most ancienct cities in Cyprus, rich in archaeological cites, natural beauties and friendly people... Enjoy!
