Welcome relief from the heat of Samoa Aug 24, 2012
Head to the village of Seesee in the Faleata district of Apia, and after winding your way up a hilly village road, you will come across a clearing where you will be approached by some local village women for the entry fee of $1 Samoan tala per person, then begin your descent into the tree laden valley towards the riverbed and the sliding rocks.

There are small safe pools for the kids and the sliding rocks and pools for the more adventurous, this can be a very welcome respite from the midday sun in Samoa especially during the hotter months. Dont forget to take a picnic lunch and bottled water which you can leave in the rock pools to keep chilled. The access, though paved is steep in places, No disabled access, handrails from top to bottom, and a reasonable level of fitness required.
