Dine on a tombstone Nov 24, 2013
Have you ever wanted to dine on a tombstone? There's a place in Leon, Mexico, where you can do it.
Central Mexico is an area with a big bullfighting tradition, so finding a place like this is not a surprise. I am not into bullfighting, but I have to admit that this place has a fantastic character. While obviously you don't dine on a real tombstone, the tables are replicas of the tombstones of famous bullfighters of Mexico and Spain. If you look around the walls, you will find lots of original posters, pictures and items related to bullfighting. It's kind of like a HRC for bullfighting.
Food is great and they also have a large selection of tequilas, vodka, wine, beer and other liquors.
Nice place to hang out or dine with friends. Since it's a traditional place, it closes early on Sundays.
