Pangani Forest Exploration Trail Walt Disney World Reviews
Seeing animals of Africa Mar 17, 2013
Located in the Africa section of Animal Kingdom, the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail is a trail takes visitors to see the native animals of Africa.
As you walk on the trail, through an African forest, you get to see colobus monkeys, a hippopotamus underwater, some meerkats, and some animals that I never seen before. It has its own bird forest, where you can pick up a chart and see how many types of birds you can spot.
But the main attraction are the gorillas, which no doubt, is the most popular part, and can get crowded at times. Even if there are multiple viewing areas. So you may have to come back at another time, and try again.
This attraction is definitely worth checking out, and a good way to kill time while waiting for your Fastpass time for the Kilimanjaro Safaris, which is next door to the entrance. And you can go in and out of this attraction whenever you want, and go at your own pace. Though the trail is only one way.
