Pandanon is part of the archipelago of North Bohol and is politically appended to Getafe (Hetafe). Pandanon Island has gained increasing popularity these days for its natural sandbar that extends shallowly into the sea. It is not a good place to dive or snorkel but it undoubtedly makes up for its family oriented atmosphere. This private area that has just been recently opened to the public is only 40 minutes away from the Mactan Island. Local outrigger boats from any point in Mactan and through any of the beach resorts in Maribago, Agus or Marigondon, to the southend port of Cordova, can reach Pandanon Island.
