Pancakes Jan 11, 2009
The Pancake Parlour is something of an institution in Canberra, Melbourne and Adelaide (except it is the Pancake Kitchen in Adelaide). Open later hours than most restaurants with cheap food (it was once exceptionally cheap with all you could eat pancake stacks, but the prices have now crept up), everyone had a late night post-drinking Pancake experience. The Canberra store is Lydia's favourite restaurant due to the abundance of pancakes and the festive and eclectic atmosphere. I am slightly less of a fan with a few irritations (only one savoury vegetarian pancake unless you are there for breakfast - which isn't all day for some reason, they won't sell the child meals to adults at the normal prices) but they are tasty filling meals and it is a fun place to eat.

I use to frequent one in the Rocks in Sydney after nights out. LOVE IT!

Must admit, went to the Pancake Kitchen Adelaide a couple of months ago. No one was impressed with the service or the pancakes that they had. ( I don't eat them)
