Heavy traffic is the last thing you want to be trapped in when you’re in a hurry, and here I was inching my way toward the Omni Airfield behind a pickup truck blasting a Journey tune over its stereo. Time again for the Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta, the 12th since 1994 when …

It's been awhile since I visited Manila and this time I was really anxious to be there again. I really wanted to visit my Granny (she's 88 yrs old) and my big bro, and of course have a taste of local foods. I only spent 5 days, but boy was it fun, especially the long distance travel from Manila to Nueva Ecija; stopping at some eatery places by the side of the streets, and of course mingling with the locals and telling each other some good old folklores. Yes, 5 days and it was worth it.
