Taking a few days off from work, my friend Dave and I left Angeles City, Philippines to hike up Mt. Pinatubo. It erupted in 1991 and destroyed Angeles City and Clark Air Base.

Roadtrips to nowhere. Boracay. Dencio's. Pinoy charm all around. Hospitality. Amazing scenery. The so-called secret that is the Philippines.

It's been awhile since I visited Manila and this time I was really anxious to be there again. I really wanted to visit my Granny (she's 88 yrs old) and my big bro, and of course have a taste of local foods. I only spent 5 days, but boy was it fun, especially the long distance travel from Manila to Nueva Ecija; stopping at some eatery places by the side of the streets, and of course mingling with the locals and telling each other some good old folklores. Yes, 5 days and it was worth it.

I got to travel to Singapore for a week because we had a cousin living in Singapore =) The trip was fun though I'm not yet that familiar with the country that time, we had no itineraries and make it on the spot!
