A great place to experience Pittsburgh's friendliness Jan 14, 2017
This is part of the Pamela’s Diner chain that’s all over Pittsburgh.

Fun fact: “Pamela’s P&G Diner” is the diner’s official name, and “P&G” stands for first-name initials of owners Pam Cohen and Gail Klingensmith

Pamela’s is a staple in Pittsburgh. On weekends most of the locations have lines that form outside the doors before it opens. The diner is very comfortable, and the people who work there are extremely friendly and welcoming. First Lady Michelle Obama ate at this Pamela’s in 2009; the diner placed a plaque on the back of her chair; so I took a photo in it.

NOTE: Pamela’s accepts payments in cash only.
Delicious cocoa!
Pamela's famous crepe pancakes.
Apparently Michelle Obama visited …

Good Pancakes and Michelle Obama Jan 14, 2017
The place is cute. Reminds me of old department stores where they have a diner in it because on the other half is a pharmacy store. You can eat and shop. The waiting staff are so friendly. The food is good. I got a traditional breakfast with hashbrown, bacon, eggs, and 2 pancakes. Definetly a good place to try the famous pancake. It's not your regular fluffy pancakes. It have a nice crust to the edge. You can also dine in the seat that Michelle Obama sat in!!! We also got to learn some Pittsburgh colloquialism.
