Pals Overview
Pals is situated in north Spain, Gerona, Catalunya. It’s split into a new part and the old part on the hill. The old part is very silent with lots of birds and almost every time of the day a refreshing wind. There is nothing more to do than sit down, walk a bit and relax. The best time to visit the old part is in the morning. Take a walk through the small streets and enjoy the silence.
Pals is wellknown for its medieval streets. The county of Baix Empordà in the province of Girona has in this town a lovely old quarter, declared a Historic Artistic Site. Walking this streets was truly a pleasure, especially since we were out of season and there was nobody there.
It is clearly a touristic city, there were a lot of bars, almost all closed, and the houseprices were skyhigh.
In the Gothic quarter of city, almost a streets were pretty cobbled streets and flanked by aristocratic houses with nice pricetags. We walked the streets and went to the top of the village where a nice old church greeted us with open doors.
