Palo Alto was named after a very tall tree El Palo Alto. This city is about 35 miles south of San Francisco and in just about 45 minutes you will be in this wonderful city. The city is beautiful and colorful, just driving down the residential streets you will notice it's own uniquely designed homes surrounded by the guarding trees. The trees do in fact cover a few views of those homes but it can also give the homeowners privacy and security from the world outside.
A few visiting activities or options may include shopping at the Stanford Shopping Center, Stanford University well-known for excellence in higher learning. Which leads to mentioning Stanford Hospital & Clinics - Stanford University Medical Center and Lucille Packard Children's hospital which their highly prestiged reputation is known by many within the health field and outside.
Other spots to visit for those interested in computers you can visit the Hewlett Packard garage which is a historical and also educational site where Hewlett Packard first started their business, and also Steve Jobs' garage a historical home where the macintosh computer was first created. It is also nice to roam the main streets like University Ave to check out the variety of restaurants and boutiques, or El Camino Real which can be just as eventful as University Ave but things are a little more spread out to find fun.

Because life is a trip, I'm chronicling the whole thing here. In a year where I've traveled to 18 great American cities, it's about time to show you where I've been! I just got a new camera, so from here on you'll be able to see where I went.
