Palmeden Hotel Dalyan

We stayed at the Palmeden Hotel for 7 days in August 2008. Its a small hotel (~24 rooms) and is set a little way out of Dalyan in a quiet but quaint area. Its only a 5 min walk into the town for restaurants, shops and the harbour. We had a really relaxing holiday - went to Iztuzu beach where Caretta caretta turtles nest (5.5 km long)and walked to Caunos (ancient city). The rooms are big and clean with a good a/c system (no extra cost). There are beautiful views from both the hotel and the surrounding areas and the grounds are well maintained. The pool is a decent size and clean and there are plenty of sunbeds. There was also an extra pool for our children. The safety conditions are very well.The dishes were great and very delicious.. The staff are outstanding; they made us feel so welcome and very much a part of the 'Palmeden family', that we did not want to go.They organized everything for us such as airport transportation, scuba diving tours and safary jeep tour. They could not have done more for us to make sure we had a fantasic holiday. We definitely want to go back there.
