Don Kijot (Quixote) de La Mancha had his windmills and looked upon them and saw giants ... yes, Miguel de Cervantes immortalized him and windmills in his epic novel ... Late in the afternoon that day i decided to go to the center of Palma and find "my windmills" and see what will gonna happen with me ... I was curious from the first day when we steped on Palma to find them , i "ride my bus" to the centre and started to search for them. Through the streets i passed park , came on the bay...

Yes, it is possible, because I did it. Here's how it works:
The day begins at 7.30am with a quick walk on the beach, about an hour. Then some breakfast. Then you go back down to the beach for a bit of Qi Gong, about 45 minutes. After that you rush back to the hotel, get a drink of water, get changed, and go to do Core workout for about 45 minutes, which is how long you can do situps before you pass out. Then you walk over to the fancy gym and pool in Alcúdia, where you happily slide in...

With our rented car gone we had to look for alternative transportation. So we took the bus to Palma de Mallorca again. There we went directly to the station and bought tickets for the train to Sóller. This route through 13 tunnels was built back in 1912. It crosses the Serra de Alfabia. The "Red flash" (that is the name of the train) with its wooden wagons reminds of the old times. There is a special "tourist train" that starts arround 10:30 AM. It does stop at a certain point of the route ab...

If I had to sum up the city of Palma (the capital city of Mallorca, on the southwest coast of the island) in one word, it would be "luxurious." My view of city, however, is a little skewed since I am technically not staying the city of Palma, but right outside it in a place on a mountain called Son Vida. To make a long story short, my friend Jacquelyn's parents gave us (and our friend Krista) an incredibly nice birthday gift of staying here at the Castillo Son Vida Hotel. Look it up online if...

We were pretty
toured out but we decided to take one more. Our first choice was full, thank
goodness, so we went to Palma de Mallorca, a little town where Chopin and
George Sand spent three months once. The town milks this stay for all it’s
worth, but we really enjoyed it. We toured the monestary and then heard a
stunning concert of 20 too-short minutes of Chopin’s music by an anonymous
musician who really deserved all the applause he received. It was a wonderful
way to spend the l...
