I think a must visit for everyone :) Even in the winter the garden was very nice, but I want to go back in spring or summer to see it again with all the fountains working and flowers.
In the palace you can see rooms in different styles from long ago to the last Queen that lived there. Unfortunately you are not allowed to take photo's inside, but the staff told us that in a very nice way :) The chapel is still in use for the christening of royal baby's. Every room in the palace had an english and dutch explanation of the furniture and paintings.

Once this palace was used by members of the Dutch royal family. Now it is a museum.

This place contains stables with old carriages and even old cars and sledges.
Also there is a beautiful garden at the back of the palace. This most likely takes at least 2 gardeners fulltime busy.
And than there is the palace itself. It is beautiful but unfortunately you cannot take any photos there. Every now and than young members of the royal family are baptised in the chapel of this palace so in a way it is still being used. During Christmas season there is usually a exhibition on Christmas decorations used by the royals through the centuries. It is not as big as for instance a Buckingham Palace or a Louvre but it is a nice place to walk around and see how people used to live in the past.

Paleis Het Loo (Palace Het Loo) is a wonderful place in the woods of Apeldoorn. If you like to see how the Dutch royals have lived and you like nature, come to Het Loo. There is a beautiful garden. You can also see old coaches and other cars of the Dutch royals. Check the photos for an impression...
