More than anything else in Monaco, this place is probably the must-visit (except if you're going to the casino, but I prefer this). This is the museum part of the Monaco Palace, and it you get to visit it for quite a while (if you buy the multiple ticket) and only for the cost of 4 euros (or at least that was what it cost me back then).

This palace is easily accessed and I'd be surprised if you didn't find your way up here on your own. the palace is located at the top of the hill in monaco it what is the old city of Monaco.

In order to visit the "state apartments" you have to go through the Mirror room, which has a Versalles-esque feel. Then you get to visit several of the rooms like most of the palaces of the old days, and with a fair share of paintings.

Also with the multiple ticket you can also visit the Napoleon museum, which is right there. I think it is only one room with several floors, and it contains a lot of items recollected from the time of napoleon, including several uniforms, both from the french soldiers and from the prince's guards of Monaco.
