Palace of Margaret of Austria / Court of Savoye Mechelen Reviews
Beautiful historic courtyard Sep 04, 2010
The Court of Savoy aka the Palace of Margaret of Austria dates from the 16th century and is a late gotic palace featuring one of the first examples of Renaissance architecture in the Netherlands.
The beautiful courtyard is open to the public and worth a look. Just a few minutes are to take a sneak peek through the main gate is enough to savour the atmosphere and the beauty of the construction and garden.
Nowadays the building is used as the Court of Justice of Mechelen.
