Palace Hotel Prague

This is the first time we've ever stayed in a 5* hotel, and it lived up to all our expectations. We stayed three nights for my girlfriends 21st birthday, and were impressed the second we walked in. Well actually I tell a lie, we were impressed before we even got in when we were helped with our bags from the quiet road to the reception desk. The staff were helpful and friendly from the first minute, pointing out all the best sights on the map, and offering to get the concierge to help with any bookings. Once we'd been helped up to our room we were blown away by the cleanliness, and the standard of it. There was even a little personalised message on the TV welcoming us to the hotel. My only slight criticism was the size of the pillows, as they were a little painful to sleep on, but the bed itself was fantastic. The bathroom was luxury wall to wall of the kind you'd expect but never thought you'd see! The breakfasts were of vast choice and splendid quality in a buffet style. Although we never used the restaurant (prepfered to sample some of the beautiful restaurants within walking distance of the hotel) I'm sure it would've been just as good. Thankyou Hotel Palace Praha for making my girlfriends birthday one of our most enjoyable trips ever!!
