Palæ Bar Copenhagen Reviews
Living history Oct 30, 2010
Palæ Bar is an old fashion bar in the centre of Copenhagen, and it is also one of these bars where the cigarette smoke still make your clothes smell like shit when you come home.
But when all this is said it is also a great pit stop on a Saturday walk in Copenhagen.
You can say that it is one of the gin joints that have class, charm, ambiance and not at least atmosphere enough for a whole city centre.
The bar has its fair share of artists, journalists, sports stars and other artistic souls. Today when I was there a woman had her vernissage in there and loads of sisters in passion where there to celebrate around the pictures.
The atmosphere is always light and friendly in the room and on some occasions they even have live music here. The walls are decorated with old signs and pictures and the paintings that some artists manage to hang up on the walls close to the ceiling.
The place doesn’t change and that is why people like to come there.
