Some people think that once you have kids, it's the end of the travel life.  That doesn't have to be true.  It is true, kids slow me down when I travel, but you know what?   That's not necessarily a bad thing.  A couple of months ago I got some great camel pictures when we had to stop for our toddler to use the bathroom on the side of the road in Uzbekistan.  And we have discovered the joys of parks like we never imagined now that we have kids to chase around.&nb...

Hi Folks, we hope you are all keeping well, safe and happy. We have travelled a trail of chapati and pop stores along the way from Gilgit , up the Karakorum Highway to Sust/Sost and back. We were going to travel up to the Khunjerab pass, but due to a 50metre wide landslide up the road, and the scenery running out we decided to head back to Gilgit for a mechanical check (on the car) and a breather before heading off to the Deosai Plains near Skardu (where it will be very cold-possibly snowing!...

1) Ngorogoro Crater, northern Tanzania.  Safaris are amazing.  Seeing Lions, elephants, wildebeasts, giraffes (my favorite), an rhinos in their natural surroundings is amazing anywhere you happen to go on safari.  But Ngorogoro Crater tops them all.  This gigantic depression is teaming with wildlife.  Only a few nomadic herders live in the crater, and the animals basically live as they have for centuries.  The crater walls make for beautiful backdrops as you watc...

Islamabad The Beautiful

Islamabad The Beautiful Islamabad is beautiful. It is a region-wide symbol of progress, innovation and architectural marvel. Settlement in Islamabad, the new capital after Karachi, began in the 1960s. As the city was newly founded, the growth of the population was slow. Being the seat of the Government of Pakistan, initially government servants and employees of the federal administration settled here. Since then, there has been a steady growth in the population of the cit...

My next destination in Lahore was the Royal Fort. This Fort has great historical significance & one of the prime tourist spot, not to be missed at any cost. And i was so delighted to see it after almost 15 or more years, that a lot of restoration work has been completed and still in process to give it the best original look. As soon as you enter the place (or any such places) it feels as if you have gone back in time, and amazed to see the depth, skill, intelligence&n...

The name Islamabad (City of Islam, or City of Peace) was carefully chosen to reflect Pakistan's ideology. It was coined by a Pakistani teacher during the Government of Ayub Khan. Islamabad is located 8 miles north of Rawalpindi's city center. In contrast to its twin city Rawalpindi, Islamabad pictures a lushfully green and peaceful atmosphere. It is a city of wide tree-lined streets, large houses, elegant public buildings and well organized bazaars. Sidewalks are shaded and safe behind...

I feel my heart and my ears had moved to be closed.I could hear my heartbeat was dancing loudly. First 5 minites,it was very hard to control my legs, my short legs to step on each piece of wood. Some steps were so far beyond my legs stepping, I had had walked on the sling, seemed like I was doing acrobatics! After that,I said to myself wow! now I knew why people like ex-sport.Taking a risk (sometimes) make my Adrenalin explore out, I felt very very good with this feeling.
